Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to its APEX facility TONIGHT (Sat., Sept. 5, 2020) for UFC Vegas 9 in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a heavyweight main event pitting longtime veteran Alistair Overeem opposite once-beaten bruiser Augusto Sakai.

Overeem (46-18, 1 NC), now 40, is coming off a technical knockout win over Walt Harris at UFC on ESPN 8 back in May and has captured three of his last four. As for the 29 year-old Sakai (15-1-1), he’s the winner of six straight, which includes all four bouts under the UFC banner after graduating Dana White’s “Contender Series” in summer 2018.
