Can’t wait for the upcoming barnburner between undefeated UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and undefeated challenger Paulo Costa? You can watch it now.
Well, sort of.
Adesanya (19-0 MMA, 8-0 UFC) and Costa (13-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC), of course, are set to meet in the headliner of UFC 253 on Sept. 26 in a contest that is expected to take place on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi, and it has all the makings of an instant classic.
As “Borrachinha” wraps up his camp, the Brazilian bruiser on Sunday released a look inside his camp and the lengths his team is undergoing to help him ready for the fight. The video shows a simulated matchup between Costa and Adesanya, complete with coach Eric Albarracin doing his best Bruce Buffer.
Brazilian muay Thai champion Vanderlei Goncalves serves as an Adesanya clone, completing the look with pink hair and a pretty good copy of the anime-inspired hand movements used by “The Last Stylebender.”
Oh, and please, please, please let Costa’s walkout look exactly the same on fight night.
