Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was forced to rework its UFC Vegas 10 lineup, scheduled for this Sat. night (Sept. 12, 2020) inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a result of yet another coronavirus case.

But every cloud has a silver lining.

Jalin Turner, who lost the opportunity to battle Thiago Moises earlier this month after the Brazilian fell ill, will step in on short notice to fight Brok Weaver, according to Cole Shelton, after original opponent Frank Camacho tested positive for COVID-19.

The UFC Vegas 10 fight card already lost headliner Glover Teixeira to coronavirus and we still have another two days until showtime.

Turner (9-5) cut his teeth on Dana White’s “Contender Series” and has since put together a 2-2 record inside the Octagon, including last February’s technical knockout win over Joshua Culibao. As for Weaver (15-5), no stranger to “Contender Series” action, he’s looking to rebound from last May’s submission loss to Roosevelt Roberts.
