Miguel Baeza now fights Jeremiah Wells at UFC on ESPN+ 36
Miguel Baeza will fight on Saturday night after all.
Last week, news broke that Baeza’s planned UFC on ESPN+ 36 welterweight bout against Mickey Gall was off after Gall suffered an injury in training.
On Tuesday, Baeza found out he has a new foe in Jeremiah Wells at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. MMA Junkie confirmed an initial report by AG Fight.
The Philadelphia-based Wells (8-2-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) is a veteran of the Northeast independent circuit who carries a two-fight winning streak into the matchup. Six of his eight wins are via finish, with three knockouts and three submissions apiece.
Baeza (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) is undefeated in his professional MMA career. In his last bout, the MMA Masters product picked up a second-round TKO of Matt Brown at UFC on ESPN 8 in May.
