Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will finally pull the trigger on UFC 253, which takes place inside Flash Forum on Yas Island — also known as “Fight Island” — in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, this Sat. night (Sept. 26, 2020) streaming live online via ESPN+. The pay-per-view (PPV) main event will feature reigning middleweight champion Israel Adesanya defending his 185-pound strap against undefeated title contender Paulo Costa. UFC 253 also hosts the light heavyweight showdown pitting Dominick Reyes against Jan Blachowicz, a battle of top contenders at war for the 205-pound belt recently vacated by Jon Jones.
