Brandon Royval continues to impress since joining the UFC roster.
After upsetting former UFC flyweight title challenger Tim Elliott in a “Fight of the Night” effort in his promotional debut, Royval (12-4 MMA, 2-0 UFC) engaged in another bonus-winning performance in his second trip to the octagon.
This past weekend at UFC 253 in Abu Dhabi, Royval faced Kai Kara-France in one of the wildest fights of the year. Both fighters were hurt and dropped in a wild first round, but at the start of Round 2, Royval was able to capitalize on a Kara-France takedown attempt by grabbing his neck and sinking in a guillotine choke to tap him out.
Royval’s fight may have been just as wild as his family’s celebration, who threw an absolute frenzy after Royval scored the finish. You can watch the video below:
