Former UFC featherweight and Cage Warriors featherweight champion Mads Burnell has another shot on the global stage as a Bellator athlete, and the Danish 145-pounder said he’s ready to make an impact on his promotional debut.
Burnell (13-3 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) will take on Bosnian newcomer Darko Banovic (15-7 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) in the opening bout of the night at Bellator 248, and the 26-year-old said he’s excited to start the latest chapter in his fighting career.

Bellator 248 takes place Saturday at Accor Arena in Paris, France. The four-bout card precedes Bellator Europe 10 and airs live on CBS Sports Network and streams on DAZN.
