Perry’s $60K Mercedes Is No More

It’s been quite an interesting year for Mike Perry. Aside from getting back in the win column against Mickey Gall, the hard-hitting Welterweight recently found out that he is set to be a first-time father.

But it wasn’t all good for “Platinum” in 2020, as he was caught on tape smashing an older gentleman inside a restaurant in Lubbock, Texas. Now, Perry has taken another hit in his up-and-down year as he posted photos of his damaged Mercedes on Instagram.

While it’s unclear as to exactly what happened, the positive note is that “Platinum” seems to have escaped the accident unscathed, though his caption indicates that his $60,000 luxury car is now totaled.

Perry is set to make his return to action against Robbie Lawler at UFC 255 on Nov. 12 in what is sure-to-be a thrilling striking affair that has the potential to earn him some post-fight bonus cash. That would go a long way in helping him purchase another vehicle.

Assuming the tax man doesn’t get to it first.
