Perry Flies With ‘Dirty Bird’ On Nov. 21

No Robbie Lawler? No problem!

With “Ruthless” injured and unable to compete, Mike Perry will remain on the UFC 255 pay-per-view (PPV) fight card and battle Tim Means instead. The action takes place Sat., Nov. 21, 2020 inside APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.

That’s according to ESPN.

The 29 year-old Perry (14-6) made headlines for his public meltdown earlier this year in Texas, which came in the wake of his unanimous decision win over Mickey Gall on ESPN back in June, then found himself back in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

“Platinum” has not won back-to-back fights in over three years.

Means (30-12-1, 1 NC), who turns 37 in February, has also struggled to stay consistent in one of the promotion’s most competitive weight classes. “The Dirty Bird” has alternated wins and losses dating back to his Alex Oliveira feud in early 2017.

Both Perry and Means remain unranked at 170 pounds.

UFC 255 will be headlined by the championship doubleheader pitting flyweight kingpin Deiveson Figueiredo opposite Alex Perez, not long after Valentine Shevchenko defends her 125-pound strap against Jennifer Maia.
