UFC lightweight Kevin Lee shows off giant new head and neck tattoo

Kevin Lee is going to look a little different next time he sets foot in the octagon. And it has nothing to do with his calls to get the UFC to institute a 165-pound weight class.

The UFC lightweight contender recently got a giant tattoo, which extends from the top of the back of his head all the way down the back of his neck. Lee (18-6 MMA, 11-6 UFC) posted a video on Wednesday to his Instagram showing off the his new ink.

“The Motown Phenom” was last seen in action in March 2020, when he was submitted by Charles Oliveira in the main event of UFC on ESPN+ 28. The defeat stopped Lee’s momentum, as he was coming off a $50,000 “Performance of the Night” knockout win over Gregor Gillespie at UFC 244 in November 2019.

Lee hasn’t fought since the loss to Oliveira. The 28-year-old went under ACL surgery in May, but three months later, while recovering, Lee tore the other ACL and was force to get a second surgery in August. It’s unknown when Lee will be able to return to competition.

Below is the video of Lee’s new tattoo:
