Felder Opens As Betting Underdog Against Dos Anjos

Longtime UFC lightweight veteran Paul Felder will come off the bench on less than a week’s notice to battle former 155-pound champion Rafael dos Anjos in the UFC Vegas 14 main event this weekend inside APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.

And he’ll do it as the + 150 underdog.

That’s according to our fiscal friends over at BetOnline.ag, who pegged Dos Anjos as the -175 favorite, probably because he’s been training for the last several weeks while “The Irish Dragon” is trying to pack a camp (and a weight cut) into just five days.

Felder (17-5), 35, is replacing the ailing Islam Makhachev, who withdrew from the ESPN+ event after contracting Staph infection. While the part-time commentator has not competed since losing a split decision to Dan Hooker back in February, it should be noted that Felder has also won five of his last seven.
