Tonight’s UFC Fight Night 182 lineup is down to 10 fights.
A middleweight matchup between Eryk Anders (13-5 MMA, 5-5 UFC) and Antonio Arroyo (9-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) has been removed from the event, which takes place a UFC Apex in Las Vegas and airs on ESPN following prelims on ESPN+, both fighters announced.
The culprit behind the cancellation appears to be Anders, who cited “health issues,” which have seemingly stemmed from his weight cut. He was 1.5 pounds over the divisional limit at Friday’s weigh-in, and he was to be fined 20 percent of his purse.
Anders’ recovery from his weight cut apparently didn’t go well, because he was forced to pull out of the card (via Twitter):
