Bellator 253 post-event facts: A.J. McKee has an unbelievable resume

Bellator wrapped up a three-week run of events Thursday with Bellator 253, which took place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., and aired on CBS Sports Network following prelims on MMA Junkie.

A.J. McKee (17-0 MMA, 17-0 BMMA) continued to show why he’s arguably the best under-25 fighter in the sport in the main event when he crushed former bantamweight champ Darrion Caldwell (15-4 MMA, 12-3 BMMA) with a stunning submission in just 71 seconds. With the win, McKee advances to the finals of the Bellator featherweight grand prix, where he will fight for the title and $1 million.
