Bringing you the weird and wild from the world of MMA each and every weeknight!

Welcome to Midnight Mania!

You come at the king, you best not miss, because Israel Adesanya comes with receipts.

Just a few weeks ago, Adesanya was well-prepared when former champion Chris Weidman attempted to outkick his coverage and call out the current Middleweight kingpin. After advising him to “get some wins first, bro,” Adesanya posted a years old video of himself scouting the “All-American.”

In short, Adesanya is not the fighter to randomly disrespect, as he’ll answer. Malki Kawa, CEO of First Round Management and representative of star fighters like Jon Jones and Jorge Masvidal, found out the hard way when he tried to downplay Adesanya’s inclusion as a color commentator on the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr event.

“Stylebender” took notice, and he quickly revealed that Kawa’s also been in his direct messages previously attempting to sign Adesanya.

“A quick post and delete,” Adesanya tweeted. “Glad I left him on seen. Don’t be a clout trout.” All in all, consider this a minor chapter in the seemingly endless feud between Team Adesanya and Team Jones.

Insomnia

Some clinch technique from the Shevchenko sisters, both of whom compete Saturday night at UFC 255!

It would appear that Kevin Holland is out of his Dec. 5 match up with Jack Hermansson? Or, this is a joke I don’t understand.

Two more fighters have been added to the EA UFC 4 roster:

Does Derek Brunson 2.0 have anything for Robert Whittaker? I wouldn’t favor him, but it’s not the worst rematch in the world.

Dan Ige responds to Ryan Hall’s callout but not in the way the grappler was hoping.

Advice on staying healthy for athletes and regular folks alike:

Slips, rips, and KO clips

Paul Craig has been about triangle life for long time.

Can Alex Pereira land his vicious left hook inside the LFA cage? I hope for his own sake that “American striker” Thomas Powell knows how to mix it up with some takedowns.

SUMO! clips of the night:

Random Land

Rockslides are scary.

Midnight Music: I listened to beloved Indie singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sufjan Stevens’ 2015 LP Carrie & Lowell. The album is equal parts crushing sadness and pretty Folk, and it’s probably my favorite of his work.

Sleep well Maniacs! More martial arts madness is always on the way.
