UFC on ESPN 18 weigh-in results: Devin Clark, Anthony Smith set for new headliner

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC on ESPN 18 fighter weigh-ins, where the main card fighters all hit their marks for Saturday’s card.

In the main event, Devin Clark (12-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC) takes on former light heavyweight title challenger Anthony Smith (33-16 MMA, 8-6 UFC). The bout was moved up after Curtis Blaydes (14-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) tested positive for COVID-19, which was revealed Friday, and had to be removed from his heavyweight headliner against former title challenger Derrick Lewis (24-7 MMA, 15-5 UFC).

Clark weighed in at 204.5 pounds. Smith was the last fighter to come to the scale with about 15 minutes left in the two-hour weigh-ins window. He was 205 pounds on the nose. Their fight was scheduled to be three rounds when it was the co-main event, but now will be a five-round fight.

The weigh-ins took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The same venue hosts Saturday’s card, which has a main card on ESPN+ following prelims on ESPN+.
