They don’t call Jack Hermansson “The Joker” for nothing.

Hermansson (21-5 MMA, 8-3 UFC), who endured yet another opponent change for his UFC on ESPN 19 main event, handled the entire situation like with good humor and positivity.

Initially scheduled to face Darren Till on Dec. 5, Hermansson agreed to face the unranked Kevin Holland as a replacement opponent after Till was forced out due to injury.

But, around a week out from the event, Hermansson was struck with bad news once again when Holland was forced to withdraw after testing positive for COVID-19. With not much time to scramble for a new opponent, the UFC offered Hermansson the streaking Marvin Vettori, who the top contender accepted with no hesitation.

And luckily, his live reaction to the news was caught on video, which he posted to his Twitter account.

In a recent interview with MMA Junkie, Hermansson explained that he was absolutely eager to get one more fight in before the end of the year and despite the numerous opponent switches, “The Joker” clearly remains unfazed.
