Marvin Vettori is carrying a good amount of momentum heading into this weekend’s UFC event.
Vettori (15-3-1 MMA, 5-2-1 UFC), who headlines Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 19 against Jack Hermansson, is coming off a submission win over Karl Roberson at UFC on ESPN 10 back in June. The first-round victory earned him a $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus.

“The Italian Dream” is on a three-fight winning streak but remains unranked in the UFC official middleweight rankings. Vettori could very well enter the rankings with a win this Saturday, as he’s taking on No. 4 Hermansson.
Meanwhile, Hermansson is coming off a submission win over Kelvin Gastelum. He’s also 5-1 in his last six bouts.
