Danis Punked In Paul Drive By

Before we get started, I just want to point out that all the MMA (cough) “purists” who are suffering from a collapsed bunghole after watching YouTube boxer Jake Paul hurl water balloons at Bellator MMA attraction Dillon Danis are the same wishy-washy blowhards who stood and cheered when Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz went to war with plastic missiles.

This is what we have to work with folks, embrace it or move on.

Now that we got that out of the way, let’s also acknowledge that Danis is only famous because he’s Conor McGregor’s sidekick, so it’s not like Paul was chasing down anyone important. Probably because nobody of any relevance would give him the time of day and UFC President Dana White already shot down any hope of murdering the Paul brothers.

Bellator MMA President Scott Coker, however, is just the right promoter to stage that kind of event. In fact, he was previously courting Logan Paul for a potential in-cage debut, so there’s no reason why brother Jake can’t score the same consideration, especially with all the online tomfoolery in recent days.

That includes Paul’s highlight-reel knockout over Nate Robinson last month on pay-per-view (PPV), which improved his boxing record to 2-0. That might not be anything to write home about, but it certainly did enough to impress “Iron” Mike Tyson, who got a little help at the box office from his fellow pugilist.

As for how the Paul-Danis feud got started … who cares? Just let them bang, bro.
