Video! Garcia Mean Mugs Campbell In Final Staredown

Ryan Garcia (20-0, 17 KO) will look to win his first major title tomorrow night (Sat., Jan. 2, 2021) live on DAZN from inside American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, when he takes on Luke Campbell (20-3, 16 KO) in the main event. The two fighters will be competing for the interim WBC lightweight title.

While this matchup isn’t likely to set the combat world ablaze it is a great fight to spark the new year. Garcia is one of the most promising young names in boxing today and Campbell is the veteran fighter who can bring his game to a new level. Campbell has been in the ring with some of the best fighters in the weight class so Garcia will have to be on top of his game to take care of the English southpaw.

Ahead of their main event clash on DAZN both fighters stepped on the scale Friday afternoon for official weigh ins. After successfully hitting the lightweight mark Garcia and Campbell lined up for one final staredown, which can be seen in the above video player.

Only time will tell if Garcia is ready to take the next step in his young career or if Campbell can come back after a 2019 loss to Vasyl Lomachenko and re-establish his lightweight worth for 2021.
