Longtime Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) veteran Alistair Overeem will make his return to the Octagon for a five-round showdown opposite No. 6-ranked heavyweight contender Alexander Volkov in the UFC “Fight Night” main event on Feb. 6.

And he’ll do it as the +140 underdog.

That’s according to the number crunchers over at BetOnline.ag, who pegged Volkov as the -160 favorite. A betting line that close has the potential to swing in the other direction as we get closer to fight night so if “The Reem” is your guy, now is the time to buy.

Overeem (47-18, 1 NC), who turns 41 in May, insists he’s retiring after “one last run” at the heavyweight title, which translates into “one more loss” because that’s all it takes to send the hot-and-cold “Demolition Man” to the back of the line.

As for Volkov (32-8), his goal is to snap Overeem’s two-fight winning streak and replace him in the Top 5 of the division. “Drago” was last seen beating the brakes off Walt Harris at the UFC 254 pay-per-view (PPV) event last October in Abu Dhabi.
