New Poster For ‘Chiesa Vs Magny’ On Jan. 20

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently promoted the welterweight matchup between Michael Chiesa and Neil Magny to the UFC Fight Island 8 main event on Jan. 20 in Abu Dhabi, thanks to the dissolution of the original headliner pitting Leon Edwards against Khamzat Chimaev.

To help fans get hyped for their special midweek showdown, sandwiched between UFC Fight Island 7 on Jan. 16 and UFC 257 on Jan. 23, the promotion released the official poster for “Chiesa vs. Magny” event, which airs exclusively on ESPN+.

Chiesa (17-4) is 3-0 since bumping up to welterweight, defeating Carlos Condit, Diego Sanchez and Rafael dos Anjos. Prior to that, “Maverick” was on a two-fight skid in the lightweight division. Magny (24-7), meanwhile, is also the owner of a three-fight win streak, scoring big victories over Li Jingliang, Robbie Lawler and Anthony Rocco Martin.
