Zubaira Tukhugov vs. Ricardo Ramos joins UFC Fight Night on March 13

A featherweight matchup is the latest addition to UFC Fight Night on March 13.

Zubaira Tukhugov (19-5-1 MMA, 4-2-1 UFC) will take on Ricardo Ramos (14-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC) in an event which does not currently have a confirmed venue or host city.

A person with knowledge of the matchup recently confirmed the booking to MMA Junkie but asked to remain anonymous since the promotion has yet to make an official announcement. TASS’ Igor Lazorin was first to report the news.

After a strong start to his UFC tenure, Tukhugov has had mixed results in the octagon in more recent times. In his past three outings, the Russian battled to a split draw with Lerone Murphy at UFC 242, picked up a first-round stoppage of Kevin Aguilar in February, then was edged out by Hakeem Dawodu at UFC 253 in September.

Meanwhile, Brazil’s Ramos saw his two-fight winning streak snapped at the hands of Murphy in July. Prior to that, he picked up a unanimous decision win over Journey Newson and a “Performance of the Night” submission of Eduardo Garagorri in his return to 145 pounds.
