UFC 258 Promo: Ex-Teammates Go To Battle!

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will return to the pay-per-view (PPV) business on Feb. 12, 2021 to present UFC 258, which will feature a Welterweight title fight between division champion, Kamaru Usman, and his former teammate, Gilbert Burns.

The two men were set to collide at UFC 256 last December before Usman pulled out of the fight citing that he needed more time to prepare. But now that he is ready to defend his 170-pound strap on the line, he is in for a real battle against a man who knows him very well.

Burns earns the right to fight for the title after racking up six straight wins, including a dominant outing against former champion, Tyron Woodley, as well as as big victories over Demian Maia and Gunnar Nelson. Now, the Brazilian bomber will look to cap off his tremendous run by winning UFC gold for the first time.

In the co-main event, Kelvin Gastelum battles Ian Heinisch at Middleweight, while Jimmie Rivera takes on Pedro Munhoz in a pivotal Bantamweight bout. Also on the card, Maycee Barber will face Alexa Grasso.
