Cory Sandhagen scored an early contender for 2021’s “Knockout of the Year” at UFC Fight Night 184 when he put away a legend in emphatic fashion.

Sandhagen was able to make quick work of former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar, as he starched “The Answer” with a flying knee less than 30 seconds into their bantamweight co-main event bout in Las Vegas.

Sandhagen’s win cemented the longtime Elevation Fight Team member as the No. 1 contender at bantamweight, and his teammates Neil Magny, Drew Dober, and Curtis Blaydes were left open-mouthed in amazement at their colleague’s incredible finish.

The moment was caught on camera by Denver filmmaker “Kid Cannon TV,” who has made his name online for his “Home Grown Fighter” vlogs with UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell.
