UFC 259 fight poster released: Four champs, three title fights, lots of gold

In stark contrast to Saturday night’s UFC 258, which features a welterweight title fight in the main event and then a precipitous decline in the sort of fights that might induce one to spend $70, UFC 259 on March 6 features three championship fights, with four champions who hold five belts.

In the main event, light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz makes his first title defense against undefeated middleweight titleholder Israel Adesanya. The co-feature sees women’s featherweight and bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes put the former belt up for grabs against Megan Anderson. And bantamweight champ Petr Yan puts his title on the line for the first time against top contender Aljamain Sterling.
