Watch Darren Till and Mike Perry recount their sparring session in hilarious Instagram Live chat

MMA’s best frenemies are back.

Since sharing a sparring session a couple of years ago, Darren Till and Mike Perry have had a love-hate relationship that has gone from friendly banter to legitimately wanting to punch each other in the face.

At times, it’s hard to gauge if things will actually escalate between the two, with Till continuously poking at Perry on social media. But, in their most recent interaction, the two decided to hop on an Instagram Live session and relive their infamous spar – not spa – session.

Of course, both fighters claimed they got the best of each other, with Till telling Perry he’d be too small and too slow if they fought. Perry fired back by telling Till that his jiu-jitsu is dog (expletive) as their back-and-forth went from wanting to fight, to inviting each other out to come and train.

And, after they ended their call, Perry made sure to land the last jab by taking aim at Till’s close decision wins over Kelvin Gastelum and Stephen Thompson.

But, with Till now competing at middleweight, a matchup that’s been brewing since their 2017 encounter in Gdansk now looks highly unlikely. The Liverpool native is scheduled to face Marvin Vettori in the main event of UFC Fight Night 189 on April 10, whereas Perry, who’s coming off a unanimous decision loss to Tim Means at UFC 255, is yet to be booked for his next fight.
