Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight title contender Bryan Caraway, who at one point was ranked No. 4 at 135 pounds, will face what could prove to be his toughest opponent to date on March 11.

Benton County Superior Court.

Caraway, 36, is expected to plea to forgery, making a false statement on a vehicle application certificate of title, false claims of proof in excess of $1,500 and first-degree attempted theft, according to a report from Tri-City Herald.

“Kid Lightning” is accused of forging the title to an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) belonging to ex-girlfriend and former UFC champ Miesha Tate, buying an insurance policy to cover said vehicle (and its related equipment), then reporting it stolen.

Caraway is also charged with stealing the ATV from Tate in Nevada.

When the former “Ultimate Fighter” failed to make his original court date of Feb. 4, the court issued an arrest warrant, landing the 36 year-old fighter on the Washington state Office of the Insurance Commissioner’s “Most Wanted” list.

Following a statewide news release, Caraway promptly contacted the Benton County Prosecutor’s Office for a new arraignment date and his arrest warrant — as well as his place on the list of wanted felons — were rolled back.

Tate, cooperating with investigators from the onset, was able to provide surveillance video of Caraway, along with incriminating text messages. “Cupcake” also claimed Caraway threatened to “strangle” her and steal back the ATV.

Caraway’s brother, Thomas, has also been charged with insurance fraud in an unrelated case.
