Defining Fights: UFC 259 co-headliner Amanda Nunes

Amanda Nunes continues to dominate women’s MMA like no other athlete in the sport’s history.

Two-division UFC champion Nunes (20-4 MMA, 13-1 UFC) returns to action in the co-main event of UFC 259, where she will put her featherweight title on the line againt former Invicta FC champion Megan Anderson.

The bout represents Nunes’ ninth consecutive title fight, and the second defense of her featherweight crown, as “The Lioness” looks to continue her reign over the women’s MMA landscape with another dominant performance.

UFC 259 takes place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on ESPN+.
