Randa Markos vs. Luana Pinheiro added to UFC 260
Luana Pinheiro will draw one of the most experienced strawweights on the roster in her UFC debut.
Pinheiro (8-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) faces Randa Markos (10-10-1 MMA, 6-9 UFC) at a UFC 260, which takes place March 27 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
UFC officials recently announced the booking.
Brazil’s Pinheiro punched her ticket to the UFC in November, when she knocked out Stephanie Frausto in the first round at Dana White’s Contender Series 35. She is currently riding a six-fight winning streak, all via finish.
Meanwhile, Markos is currently enduring the roughest stretch of her career having lost four of her past five. After edging out Ashley Yoder in October 2019, “The Ultimate Fighter” veteran has dropped three straight to Amanda Ribas, Mackenzie Dern and, most recently, Kanako Murata at UFC Fight Night 182 in November.
With the addition, the UFC 260 lineup includes:
