It’s no secret Jon Jones is rooting for Jan Blachowicz to retain his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight belt this Sat,. night (March 6) when he goes up against current Middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, at UFC 259.

But now “Bones” is giving his official prediction.

The former 205-pound champion-turned Heavyweight posted his prediction of the outcome of the bout, revealing that he feels Blachowicz will sleep “Izzy” with strikes. Jones, however, was quick to delete his post. Of course, once the evidence is online even for a split-second it’s hard to completely erase.

Jones has been known to tweet-and-delete on several occasions, but why he would post and remove this from his Twitter account is a bit of a head scratcher. It wasn’t disrespectful or vulgar, and his disdain for Adesanya isn’t exactly a secret. Could it be that “Bones” had a change of heart and thinks Adesanya will prove victorious?

Of course, “The Last Stylebender” remaining undefeated would only add to the promotion of his potential superfight with Jones — who has also never truly lost inside the Octagon other than his controversial disqualification against Matt Hamill in Dec. 2009. While a loss for Adesanya won’t exactly bury their potential fight, two unbeaten fighters going at it just has a better ring to it.

Before then, Adesanya has his entire focus on a hard-hitting Polish champion who is looking to make a statement in “Sin City” by earning his first title defense. As for “Bones,” he patiently awaits the winner of next month’s UFC 260 Heavyweight title fight between Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou.
