Montana De La Rosa vs. Ariane Lipski added to UFC Fight Night on June 5

Montana De La Rosa and Ariane Lipski are set to square off.

At UFC Fight Night on June 5, De La Rosa (11-6-1 MMA, 4-2-1 UFC) and Lipski (13-6 MMA, 2-3 UFC) will meet in a three-round flyweight bout at a location and venue to be announced.

Two people with knowledge of the matchup informed MMA Junkie of the booking but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.

De La Rosa is 1-1-1 in her most three outings. Following a victory over Mara Romero Borella in February 2020, De La Rosa lost a unanimous decision to Viviane Araujo in September.

She most recently competed at UFC Fight Night 186 in January when she fought to a majority draw with Mayra Bueno Silva. In the first round, Bueno Silva was deducted a point for grabbing the fence.

As for Lipski, “The Queen of Violence” won back-to-back fights against Isabela de Paula and Luana Carolina before her November showdown against Antonina Shevchenko at UFC 255. She lost to Shevchenko by second-round TKO due to ground-and-pound.
