Jake Paul Vs Ben Askren Fight Card, PPV Start Time

Triller

Fresh off its success of the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. pay-per-view (PPV) event back in Nov. 2020, Triller will return to action on April 17 in Atlanta for one of the strangest boxing matchups in recent memory, featuring social media star Jake Paul taking on retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren.

The PPV live stream begins 9 p.m. ET on April 17 and costs $49.99 (stream it here).

Elsewhere on the card, former WBA super lightweight champion Regis Prograis collides with Ukrainian pugilist Ivan Redkach, while ex-UFC heavyweight kingpin Frank Mir makes his debut in the “sweet science” opposite former IBF cruiserweight champion Steve Cunningham (not Antonio Tarver).

Lastly, British nightclub owner Joe Fournier battles Colombian reggaeton musician Reykon. Musical guests include Doja Cat, Saweetie, Diplo, Major Lazer, The Black Keys and Mt. Westmore, the rap super group comprised of hip-hop legends Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Too $hort and E-40.

“He’s slow and my speed will immediately show and he will be getting hit from every single angle and there’s not much he can do,” Paul told ESPN about his Askren headliner. “And he’s never had a boxing match, so it’s different than MMA. When you’re hurt you can’t just shoot your little takedown, Ben. Can’t do that buddy, sorry.”
