Holland Promises To ‘Step It Up’ Against Vettori

That guy who lost to Derek Brunson at UFC Vegas 22? Yeah, that was “Big Mouth” Kevin Holland. “Trail Blazer” is the one who will be competing against streaking middleweight contender Marvin Vettori at UFC Vegas 23 in “Sin City.”

Assuming he doesn’t have another “mental breakdown.”

“That guy you said played too much on the last one is ready to step up and give you what he owes you,” Holland wrote on social media. “Chael Sonnen said it best. Now quit begging for big mouth and start asking for TrailBlazer!”

Holland finished his post with the hashtag #alterego.

The middleweight “Trailblazer” has racked up a Cerrone-like 11 fights in just over two years, a torrid run that followed a June 2018 win on Dana White’s “Contender Series.” Holland recently replaced the injured Darren Till for the April 10 main event in Las Vegas.
