Chairez Vs Monterroso Title Fight Headlines Combate Global Card On April 9

Combate Americas — which recently rebranded as Combate Global — will make its return to mixed martial arts (MMA) action this Friday night (April 9, 2021) in Miami, Florida, with a special Combate Global North American championship main event and inaugural flyweight title fight pitting Edgar “Pitbull” Chairez (6-3) against Mefi “Lil Monsta’” Monterroso.

Elsewhere on the April 9 fight card, which airs live on television in the U.S. on Univision at 12:30 am ET/PT and TUDN USA at 12:30 a.m. ET/9:30 p.m.PT, as well as in Mexico on Televisa Canal 5 at 11:30 p.m. local time, unbeaten David “The Black Spartan” Martinez (3-0) collides with Gianni “Kryptonia” Vasquez (5-4) in the a bantamweight co-main event.

In addition, a featured women’s strawweight matchup sends Paulina Vargas (4-1) into battle opposite Laura “La Jefa” Gallardo (2-1).
