Talita Nogueira sets sights on Cat Zingano after first MMA win since 2017

UNCASVILLE, Conn. – It had been more than three and a half years since Talita Nogueira had her hand raised in an MMA fight before this past Friday.

Nogueira (8-2 MMA, 2-2 BMMA) hadn’t won other than grappling exhibitions since August 2017. But she took care of Jessica Borga (3-3 MMA, 1-1 BMMA) to snap her two fight skid at Bellator 256 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. The main card aired on Showtime following prelims on MMA Junkie.

Following the fight, Nogueira talked to the media about her win, her callout of Cat Zingano, the rough time off from MMA during the pandemic, and more.
