After Bellator 257 win, ex-champ Julia Budd wants next title shot: ‘I never accept failure’
UNCASVILLE, Conn. – Julia Budd is out to get her belt back.
This past Friday, the former Bellator women’s featherweight champion picked up her second consecutive win since losing the title to Cris Cyborg. Budd (15-3 MMA, 9-1 BMMA) out-pointed Dayana Silva (9-6 MMA, 0-1 BMMA) for a split decision on the preliminary card of Bellator 257 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.
Following the fight, Budd talked to the media about her win, the title picture at women’s featherweight, sharing the fight card with her stepson, Lance Gibson Jr., and more.
