Logan Paul warns everyone about brother Jake’s boxing: ‘He’s not the YouTube kid anymore’

ATLANTA – To borrow from UFC star Nate Diaz, Logal Paul is not surprised, motherf***ers.

His younger brother, fellow YouTube star Jake Paul, pushed his professional boxing record to 3-0 with a first-round TKO of Ben Askren in the Triller Fight Club headliner this past Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

According to Logan, it’s the result everyone should’ve seen coming.

“What the f*** did y’all expect?” Logan told MMA Junkie. “Stop doubting Jake. Every fight I’m like, ‘Ehhhh.’ Stop doubting Jake.”

Prior to Saturday, Jake had two professional boxing matches against another YouTube star in AnEsonGib and former NBA All-Star Nate Robinson. Given the competition, questions persisted about Jake’s credibility as a boxer.

In Askren, Jake, 24, faced a former Bellator and ONE Championship titleholder – as he put it, a “real fighter.” Askren, a former Olympic wrestler and two-time collegiate national champion, never was known for his striking ability and, prior to Saturday, hadn’t competed in boxing. That showed as Jake found success early before landing a hard right hand that dropped Askren and ended the fight at 1:59 mark of the first round.

Since the win, Jake has called out everyone under the sun – and been the target of callouts himself, including from UFC Hall of Famer B.J. Penn. Who he’ll fight next is anyone’s guess. All Logan can say is that people better recognize what his younger brother is capable of.

“He’s not who you think he is. He’s not the YouTube kid anymore,” Logan said. “He’s a f***ing bad motherf***er with a heavy right hand. There’s a reason … no one can survive those. No one has. And he’s gonna continue doing so. Doubt him all you want, but you’re gonna be wrong every time.”
