Bellator returns this week after a short layoff, and the bantamweight title is on the line at the top of the bill.

Bellator 258 takes place Friday at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. The main card airs on Showtime following prelims on MMA Junkie.

In the main event, bantamweight champion Juan Archuleta (25-2 MMA, 7-1 BMMA) puts his title on the line against Sergio Pettis (20-5 MMA, 2-0 BMMA). Archuleta is the favorite at -190 at BetMGM, and only one of our 12 editors, writers, videographers and radio hosts is picking Pettis to upset him.

In the co-feature, Jose Augusto (7-2 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) gets a short-notice assignment in the opening round of the light heavyweight tournament against former UFC title challenger Anthony Johnson (22-6 MMA, 0-0 BMMA), who is making his Bellator debut. Johnson, returning from a lengthy retirement, is a -450 favorite and one of three unanimous picks on the main card.

Also on the main card, Patricky Freire (23-9 MMA, 14-7 BMMA) is a -275 favorite at lightweight against Peter Queally (12-5-1 MMA, 1-1 BMMA) and another unanimous pick.

And to open the main card, Derek Anderson (17-3 MMA, 8-3 BMMA) takes on 3-1 favorite Michael Page (18-1 MMA, 14-1 BMMA) at welterweight. Page is our third unanimous pick on the main card.
