USA TODAY Sports/MMA Junkie rankings, May 11: Anthony Johnson rejoins top 10 with comeback KO

With the UFC, Bellator and PFL all in action this past week, there were moves to be made in the latest USA TODAY Sports/MMA Junkie rankings.

In the UFC on ESPN 24 headliner, Marina Rodriguez continued his winning ways with a unanimous decision win over Michelle Waterson. The fight took place at women’s flyweight, but since both are typically strawweights, it still got the Brazilian a bump in the 115 rankings.

Prior to the UFC event, Bellator put on a show that saw Sergio Pettis elevate his status at bantamweight by taking the title off Juan Archuleta, and also Anthony Johnson re-entered the MMA picture after more than four years and scored a comeback knockout that got him back in the rankings in the light heavyweight division.
