Manon Fiorot vs. Maryna Moroz added to UFC Fight Night on June 5

Highly touted French prospect Manon Fiorot has her second UFC fight in the works.

Fiorot (6-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) is expected to take on Maryna Moroz (10-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) at a UFC Fight Night event on June 5 that does not yet have an official venue or location.

The UFC officially announced the fight Monday on Twitter. La Sueur was the first to report the news.

Fiorot, a former Extreme Fighting Championship and UAE Warriors champion, looked fantastic in her UFC debut, battering Dana White’s Contender Series graduate Victoria Leonardo for a second-round finish at UFC on ESPN 20 in January. She will draw a stern test when she faces Ukraine’s Moroz.

Moroz is 2-0 since moving back up to flyweight after a six-fight stint at 115 pounds. The American Top Team fighter is coming off back-to-back decision wins over Sabina Mazo and, most recently, a “Fight of the Night” against Mayra Bueno Silva in March 2020. Moroz was scheduled to face Montana De La Rosa in September but was forced to withdraw due to visa issues. She was then booked against Taila Santos at UFC on ESPN 19 in December but was forced out once again for undisclosed reasons.

With the addition, the UFC’s June 5 lineup now includes:

  • Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs. Augusto Sakai
  • Muslim Salikhov vs. Francisco Trinaldo
  • Walt Harris vs. Marcin Tybura
  • Tanner Boser vs. Ilir Latifi
  • Sean Woodson vs. Youssef Zalal
  • Montana De La Rosa vs. Ariane Lipski
  • Maki Pitolo vs. Dusko Todorovic
  • Alessio Di Chirico vs. Roman Dolidze
  • Miguel Baeza vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio
  • Antonio Arroyo vs. Tom Breese
  • Manon Fiorot vs. Maryna Moroz
  • Makwan Amirkhani vs. Nate Landwehr
