Jordan Wright delivered in a big spot during the ESPN “Prelims” earlier tonight (Sat., May 15, 2021) at UFC 262 from inside Toyota Center in Houston, Tex., when “Beverly Hills Ninja” stopped Jamie Pickett with a TKO (knee and punches) finish just 64 seconds into the first round.

Pickett seemed hesitant to throw in the early going and it cost him. Wright was able to hit first and he caught Pickett with a series of short elbows to the temple along the cage. Pickett was hurt and Wright turned the heat up with massive knees that toppled Pickett to the canvas. Wright followed suit with slamming hammer fists before the referee stepped in to save Pickett.

This is a massive win for Wright considering he’s coming off a first-round knockout loss to Joaquin Buckley back in Nov. 2020. “Beverly Hills Ninja” not only found the finish when it presented itself but he did it in front of his first live UFC crowd.
