LAS VEGAS – Edmen Shahbazyan is focused on moving forward at UFC Fight Night 188, but he would eventually like the chance to redeem his lone career defeat.
Shahbazyan (11-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) meets Jack Hermansson (21-6 MMA, 8-4 UFC) on Saturday in a middleweight main card matchup, which streams on ESPN+ from the UFC Apex, and it will be his first octagon appearance since losing his undefeated record to Derek Brunson by third-round TKO in August.
Before the fight this weekend, Shahbazyan talked to MMA Junkie and other reporters at UFC Fight Night 188 media day about bouncing back from the result with Brunson, the hope for a rematch down the line, taking on a big challenge in Hermansson, and much more.
