LAS VEGAS – Yan Xiaonan says there would be “no excuse” to not give her a title shot if she beats Carla Esparza in the UFC Fight Night 188 co-main event on Saturday.
Xiaonan (13-1 MMA, 6-0 UFC) meets former champ Esparza (17-6 MMA, 8-4 UFC) in a strawweight co-main event matchup, which streams on ESPN+ from the UFC Apex, and the surging Chinese contender hopes a clash with champion Rose Namajunas comes afterward.
