Face Off! Font Gets ‘No Love’ From Garbrandt!

Rising UFC bantamweight contender Rob Font will look to continue his march toward the 135-pound title when he collides with former division champion Cody Garbrandt in the upcoming UFC Vegas 27 main event, scheduled for this Sat. night (May 22, 2021) inside the promotion’s APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Font (18-4) has quietly assembled a three-fight win streak dating back to summer 2018. His last appearance ended with a technical knockout victory over former bantamweight champion Marlon Moraes at UFC Vegas 17.

Garbrandt (12-3) was recently mired in a three-fight losing streak but returned to form with a knockout win over Raphael Assuncao at UFC 250 in June 2020. Unfortunately for “No Love,” his momentum was halted by a nasty bout with COVID-19.

UFC Vegas 27 also features a compelling strawweight co-main event between former champion Carla Esparza and top 115-pound contender Yan Xiaonan. Watch “Cookie Monster” come face-to-face with “Fury” in the embedded video below.
