Norma Dumont hopes featherweight bout at UFC Fight Night 188 is just a one-off

LAS VEGAS – Norma Dumont has no long-term plans to stay in the featherweight division after UFC Fight Night 188 on Saturday.

Dumont (5-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) meets Felicia Spencer (8-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) in a women’s 145-pound matchup on the main card of the event, which streams on ESPN+ from the UFC Apex, and it comes on the heels of back-to-back weight misses at women’s bantamweight.

Before the fight, Dumont talked to MMA Junkie and other reporters at UFC Fight Night 188 media day about why she still thinks she belongs at 135 pounds, relocating to Las Vegas for the remainder of 2021, and much more.
