Repeat or revenge? UFC 263 official poster features two title-fight rematches

Two title-fight rematches will take top billing at UFC 263.

In the main event, middleweight champion Israel Adesanya (20-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) will run things back with Marvin Vettori (17-4-1 MMA, 7-2-1 UFC), and in the co-feature of the night, flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo (20-1-1 MMA, 9-1-1 UFC) rematches Brandon Moreno (18-5-2 MMA, 6-2-2 UFC).

UFC 263 will takes place at Gila River Arena in Glendale, Ariz. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+.

After failing to capture the light heavyweight title at UFC 259, Adesanya will look to notch his third middleweight title defense when he takes on streaking contender Vettori. Adesanya edged out Vettori in April 2018, but “The Italian Dream” hasn’t lost a bout since.

Figueiredo retained his title when he battled Moreno to a majority draw at UFC 256 in December. Figueiredo was deducted a point in Round 3 when he struck Moreno with a hard, inadvertent groin shot, which cost him the win on the judges’ scorecard.

Also featured on the poster is a historic five-round welterweight bout between top contender Leon Edwards (18-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC) and fan-favorite Nate Diaz (20-12 MMA, 18-11 UFC).
