UFC Fight Night 191 poster: Cory Sandhagen, T.J. Dillashaw clash for top contender status
Cory Sandhagen and T.J. Dillashaw have a new date for their bantamweight main event, and with that comes a new fight poster.
After their original date was pushed back from May 8 due to a cut sustained by Dillashaw (16-4 MMA, 12-4 UFC) in training, the former UFC champ is finally set to return against Sandhagen (14-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) in the UFC Fight Night 191 headliner on July 24 that’s expected to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and stream on ESPN+.
It’s a huge fight for the 135-pound division. Sandhagen can add to an already impressive argument to challenge for the belt after Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan have their rematch, and Dillashaw can put himself right back in line to fight for the title he gave up prior to being busted with a two-year suspension for performance-enhancing drugs.
