At the event, which took place June 12 at Gila River Arena in Glendale, Ariz., Israel Adesanya (21-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) cruised past Marvin Vettori (17-4-1 MMA, 7-3-1 UFC) in their main event rematch to retain his middleweight title.

In the co-headliner, Brandon Moreno (19-5-2 MMA, 7-2-2 UFC) became the first Mexico-born UFC champion when he dethroned Deiveson Figueiredo (20-2-1 MMA, 9-2-1 UFC) with a third-round submission to claim the flyweight title.

In addition, Leon Edwards (19-3 MMA, 11-2 UFC) survived a late surge from fan-favorite Nate Diaz (20-13 MMA, 15-11 UFC) to further solidify his title contention status.
