UFC flyweight up-and-comer Sarah Alpar needed to raise $30,000 to train full time and continue her MMA career inside the Octagon, starting with her Erin Blanchfield fight on the UFC 266 fight card in September.

Mission accomplished.

Alpar was able to hit her target goal on Wednesday afternoon thanks to a sizable donation from sports and entertainment promotion Triller. And with that $25,000 contribution came an attack on UFC fighter pay.

No doubt payback for these scathing comments.

“We are honored to help Sarah as she continues her march towards becoming a world champion,” Triller boxing chief officer Peter Kahn wrote online. “Sarah and many underpaid UFC fighters are starting at a disadvantage when they have to work multiple other jobs while putting their bodies and brains through the most rigorous training one could imagine. It’s sad to see such talented fighters making less than the UFC ring/round card girls.”

Social media star Jake Paul dropped $5,000 into the Alpar pot on Wednesday and like Triller, used the subsequent press attention to take another swing at UFC (read it here). As of this writing, “Too Sweet” raised nearly $35,000 in total.

“Thank you for believing in me,” Alpar wrote online. “The ‘Too Sweet’ Tribe grew by thousands today, and I couldn’t be happier to have every one of you a part of it. We reached our financial goal! A huge shoutout to Jake Paul for causing a splash on the socials for my campaign; seriously life-changing. Changes are happening this week and beyond. Get ready to see growth! Beast mode!”

Don’t be surprised if UFC cuts Alpar with a loss to Blanchfield.
