Conor McGregor gets Dustin Poirier’s wife, Jolie Poirier, involved in the narrative for UFC 264.

Conor McGregor gets personal ahead of UFC 264 by posting what appears to be a direct message (DM) request from opponent Dustin Poirier’s wife, Jolie Poirier.

On Tuesday, McGregor posted a DM request from Poirier’s wife, Jolie; however, the authenticity of the screenshot has not been verified. An example of actions speaking louder than words, “The Notorious” one left no note with the screengrab.

The buildup for UFC 257: Poirier vs. McGregor 2 was the antithesis of their first fight as both combatants expressed mutual respect. The rubber match falls somewhere along the middle with McGregor taking occasional jabs at Poirier, but “The Diamond” insists on letting his hands do the talking — a far cry from the hot-headed Poirier that first fought McGregor at UFC 178 on Sept. 27, 2014.
